Birmingham Visitor Information

Home to New St Station, a town called Bournville and Spaghetti Junction, Birmingham is a busy city with hopes of becoming 2008's European City of Culture.

Places of interest to visit while here might include Sherborne Wharf for relaxing boat trips and Aston Hall a Grade I Listed building dating back to the seventeenth century. Chocolate lovers will enjoy a visit to Cadbury World where you can taste as many delicious samples as you can cope with.

Once a very highly industrialised region, and currently undergoing a radical face-lift, today, Birmingham's principle industry is that of conferences and exhibitions.
